Shilpi and Anish’s Wedding Ceremony

A beautiful day, two beautiful people, and a charming backyard ceremony.  This was a joy to photograph.  Congratulations Shilpi and Anish.  Wish you both a lifetime of happiness.

Shilpi and Anish’s Sangeet

I had the pleasure of photographing Shilpi and Anish’s Sangeet not too long ago at the Palace in Somerset Park.  Here are a select few images from that night.

A mother and her two daughters

Kate raised two beautiful daughters.  Now that they are college graduates, she wanted to get some portraits done of them.  I’m glad Kate called me because it was a pleasure working with Kate, Elizabeth, and Danielle.  Thank you, ladies!

Danielle + Paul Engagement

It’s not often that you go out to shoot a fall engagement shoot three days before December and are greeted with 65 degree weather and fall foliage still hanging around on the trees.  Yea the weather helped, but the pictures would have turned out fantastic even if it were raining and cold that day.  Mainly because Dani and Paul are both so easy going.  They put their complete trust in me and let me do my thing. Warm weather and […]

Double Exposures

I’ve found a new appreciation for double exposures. Most of these can be done in camera and that’s what most photographers choose to do. I like creating it in camera as well as it is relatively easy to do so after a bit of practice. But with a bit of vision and patience, double exposures can be truly stunning. I knew I wanted a long exposure panorama of the New York City skyline double exposed on Tiff and Scott’s faces. […]

Jacqui + Brandon Engagement

As a male photographer, I’m always worried that I’m paying too much attention to my female clients during a couple’s shoot and the guy is not having any fun.  Thus I always make an extra effort to engage my male clients just as much.  I’m not always successful in doing as such, but when I hear the guy say the above quote at the end of the shoot, I know I have done my job well. These lovebirds are getting […]

A mom and her two daughters

Kate’s daughters just graduated college and she’d reached out to me asking if I can accommodate a quick family portrait while they are home for the holidays.  While discussing the details of the shoot with her on the phone, I’d gotten the impression that Kate is a proud mom.  Well upon meeting them all, I could instantly see why.  Not only are three ladies beautiful, but they are all very sweet as well.  Plus Elizabeth and Danielle are both well […]

Lindsay + Joe Engagement

Lindsay is Mary Ann’s daughter.  Who is Mary Ann?  Mary Ann used to look after my niece and she is one of the most kind-hearted woman I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. And after meeting Lindsay, I can honestly say that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree!  Both her and Joe were a dream to work with.  Lindsay and Joe are set to get married next fall and they had already been gifted a wedding photographer by a […]

Amy + Mark’s Winter Wonderland Wedding

It goes without saying that most couples hope for bright and sunny weather to grace their wedding day.  Mark and Amy had booked their wedding on the first day of spring hoping for such a warm and sunny spring day.  But as the day approached, it became more and more evident that we were in for some heavy precipitation.  Luckily, what was forecasted as mostly rain, turned out to be the snow. And just like that we had a beautiful […]
